Speach Family Candy Shoppe has created an exclusive chocolate advent calendar to countdown to Christmas. Advent calendars have been a common find in many households celebrating Christmas since the mid 1800s. Adding chocolates to the calendars began in the US around the late 1950s.

This special paperboard box is printed with a commissioned illustration depicting our whimsical, holiday-decorated candy store and factory on the corner of Court St and Lodi St in Syracuse, NY. Twenty-five precut doors allow for children, and adults alike, to open them on the corresponding date and remove a special piece of Speach's chocolate each day leading up to Christmas.

For 2026, we are offering a few different options. You can order a calendar with a selection of all Dark, Milk or White Solid Chocolates, as well as, our Master Chocolatier Selection which will include various chocolates, flavors, and fillings.

This can be a special gift for children, grand-children, and for families that are familiar with Syracuse who might not get back to visit as often as they'd like.
